Phase TWO Advanced Testing

You and Your Dog Must Must

Complete These 13 Steps

than standard test parameters


Accepting stranger

Politely accept petting

* Appearance & grooming

(simulates handling for basic vet exam, including hug style restraint)

Out for a walk

Walking through a crowd with common distractions

Reaction to passing dog

* Reactions to distractions, very loud noises and human food

* Response to unpredictable human behaviour

(ie boisterous children, alzheimer behaviour)
 * Sit/Down- stay (3 minute)

Come when called
 Supervised isolation w/evaluator - minutes
 * Walking through a door
(sit/stay & then through threshold)
 * Praise/interaction with evaluator
